The sun was shining today so after we dropped Freddie at pre-school, Parker and I headed out to Haddenham to try out Woodways Playground.
We will definitely be going back and I HAVE to take Freddie next time.
This was such a lovely park for all ages, all of the equipment was new and colourful after being refubished in 2021 and it was spacious enough for them to have a good run around whilst still being enclosed and secure.
The younger toddler climbing frame was super cute and interesting, it was all wooden with activities inside to keep them occupied and develop those motor skills! It had mini climbing activities up the side to climb on or a large ramp to walk up. It’s finished off with a fabulous wide slide!
The older kids wooden fort climbing frame is equally fab with different ways to climb up and across to get to the bigger slide. There were wooden steps or rope equivalents and Parker loved having a go but Freddie would have really enjoyed this.
The was also a trampoline in the ground, a zip wire, a variety of swings for all ages and also accessible options. There was an obstacle course which Freddie will love, and seesaws and a net swing.
There was also lots of seating for us adults and next time I will definitely head here a bit later in the morning with a picnic. The park is sat in a larger field so the kids could really burn off some steam! There is also a BMX track and tennis courts at the same site!
The park is located behind the infant school, I found it with this postcode- HP17 8DS. We drove and there is a carpark you can use just next to the tennis courts and field.
