The Spring Term at Cheam has got off to a flying start with its new Head, Nick Milbank at the helm.
Nick has already enjoyed a 25-year career at Cheam, most recently as Acting Head. He grew up in Yorkshire and is married to Kirsten. They have an infectious passion for life and share a desire to help each child reach their greatest potential and love every moment of their time at school.
Bringing not only experience and expertise as an educationalist but also a unique understanding of what makes Cheam special, Nick explains, “Our Character Education programme, recorded through the Cheam Diploma, sets us apart from many other prep schools. We put character development centre-stage and see it as the key to unlocking our children’s full range of ability. With confidence in their character, children can succeed at anything they put their minds to.”
Cheam is a leading day and boarding school for children aged 3 to 13 years, set in 100 acres on the Hampshire / Berkshire boarder. The School provides broad and extensive opportunities across academics, sport, drama, art, DT, music and outdoor learning. Their vibrant boarding provision is increasingly popular and provides families with flexible and weekly boarding, in a homely and caring environment.
