Winter Wildlife Walk at Tatton Park Gardens
17 December, 2022 - 19 March, 2023
We had been to Tatton Park in Knutsford to look around the Mansion as it was dressed for Christmas. Afterwards we ventured into the gardens and as we are National Trust Members this was free. Even though it was a little bit rainy we thought we would do a quick walk round and I was delighted to find a new trail on as this always makes a walk with my two more fun and interesting.
The Winter Wildlife Walk is running till 19th March 23 so there is plenty of time to come along and have an explore. There are 8 boards to find in the gardens and each one full of interesting facts about wild animal.
Find out where animals go in the winter and the wonderful things they do, take a peep into their habitats and see where they call home.
Trail packs are £2 each and come with reward stickers which are always great motivators for little legs. There’s a map at the start of the trail so if you have older kids who don’t need a trail pack then just take a photo on your phone before you set off.
The gardens are a lovely place to walk through out the year but this trail certainly adds to the children’s interest while the gardens aren’t so full of colourful flowers.
