Letter Santa Trail at The Hive at Moss Bank Park
9 December, 2020
£5.50Writing and posting a letter to Santa is a tradition cherished by families and is as much a part of the seasonal festivities as school nativity performances, mince pies and turkey dinners.
We know how important accessing nature and the outdoors is for you all at the moment, as well as the desire to have create some lasting Christmas memories for you and your children.
Behind the scenes our teams have been working hard to create a self-led trail at Moss Bank Park which can bring you and your children some festive cheer as part of your visit to an outdoor space under the new Government guidelines.
Children will arrive ready to complete their self-led trail after already completing their pre-written letter to Santa, they will enjoy finding the festive clues on the self-led trail needed to ensure their letter makes it all the way to Lapland, before posting their letter in Santa’s special post box. There will be a warming cup of hot chocolate and a gingerbread biscuit which will be served as a takeaway option from the Cafe at Moss Bank Park ready for the your little one to collect after their special letter has been posted. Most importantly, and for that final bit of Christmas cheer, all children completing the self-led trail will receive their very own personalised letter through the post from Santa.
This trail allows you and your family to safely make this most of the magic of Christmas and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Getting out for fresh air and exercise is vital for our health and wellbeing. The latest government guidelines state that you may visit an outdoor space with your household or support bubble, or on your own with one other person from a different household. We ask that in order to keep all of our staff and visitors safe that you only visit us in this way and maintain 2 metre social distancing at all times. You should not attend the event if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or are currently required to self-isolate.
Although this trail is self-led, we do ask that you book a slot. This is to ensure that those enjoying the trail in their household or bubble can do so safely, and while maintaining a safe distance from others.
