Kenyon Hall are passionate about educating young people (and parents!) on food, farming and the environment. The Junior Farmers events allow children to ‘learn through doing’ with fun hands-on activities mixed with bite-sized lessons, delivered by qualified teachers.

The next sessions are a ‘Summer Adventure’ taking place during the holidays in July and August !

Kenyon Hall will be taking Junior Farmers on a fun guided walk around the farm:

• Stopping by different fruit & vegetable fields to learn how they grow: from planting to pollination to picking!
• Visiting a private wood (usually off-limits to visitors) to understand more about woodland life.
• Building a ‘bug hotel’ to take home to encourage insects to pollinate plants where you live!

Suitable for children aged 3 to 13, these sessions last around an hour and cost £6.95 per child; it’s free for accompanying adults (max 2 per child).
