The Gunpowder treason and plot;
There are lots of bonfire nights and firework displays around Gloucestershire from the all out super fantastic mega in Cheltenham to small and mid size ones around the towns and villages.
Many of the events are more than just fireworks and have a BBQ and other attractions. So, wrap up warm and have a look at our selection of great places to enjoy bonfire night this year.

Bonfire Nights and Firework Displays in Gloucestershire 2024
Saturday 26th November
Aston Down Airfield Cotswold Gliding Club – the fireworks & bonfire night will feature a helicopter pyrotechnic air display performance, followed by a fireworks display by an award winning pyrotechnic team. (Stroud)
Monday 28th October
Rotary Five Valleys Fireworks Event – on site entertainment with a funfair, punch & judy show and display from Star Fireworks. (Stroud)
Friday 1st November
Almondsbury Creative Fireworks – the annual Fireworks event is one of the biggest events of the year, and this year will be no exception! with a TRIBUTE TO HARRY POTTER themed Fireworks Extravaganza!
Cheltenham Cricket Club fireworks party (Cheltenham)
Shipton Sports Club Firework Display (Shipton on Stour)
Croft Farm Water Park fireworks – Not only will you be dazzled by the fireworks’ booms and bangs, but from 7 pm, your ears will be blessed with some mind-blowing live music! (near Tewkesbury)
Cattle Country Fireworks Display – Enjoy an evening of fireworks set to music. Enter from 2pm, giving you all afternoon to explore the Farm Park before the bonfire lighting and firework display (Berkeley)
Far Peaks Fireworks Night – Food, Drink, fun and Fireworks. From 5:30pm Saturday 2nd November (Northleach)
Stow on the Wold bonfire & fireworks – gates open at 6pm with the bonfire lighting at 6:15pm. There will also be a pig roast & children’s rides. FREE ENTRY

Join Miserden Firework Display & Bonfire for a family friendly fun evening. All proceeds to Miserden School.
Cattle Country Fireworks Display – Enjoy an evening of fireworks set to music. Enter from 2pm, giving you all afternoon to explore the Farm Park before the bonfire lighting and firework display (Berkeley)
Ashley Manor Fireworks & Funfair (Cheltenham)
Speech House Fireworks and FERN Bonfire – This is a Family Event for all to enjoy. (Coleford)
Dursley Fireworks – No need to book, just turn up on the gates with your pennies to spend. Gates open at 5pm, fireworks start at 6pm. There are two sets of 10 minute displays, the first being a quieter more gentle set, and the second half with the louder bangs! (Dursley)
Frampton Bonfire Night & Fireworks – held at Frampton Youth Football Club, there will be a fireworks display, bonfire and traditional burning of the Guy. (Frampton)
St Joseph’s Fireworks Nympsfield – Open to all, not just St Joseph’s families. There will be light up toys for sale, baked goods, toffee apple decorating, burgers and sausages, bar to commode soft drinks too!

Longlevens Infants & Junior School firework display gates open at 5pm with the fireworks at 6:30pm

Gloucester Country Cricket Club fireworks display
Saturday 9th November
Thornbury Fireworks Night – Thornbury Round Table runs the annual town fireworks event in order to raise funds for local causes.
Wotton Fireworks Display – the gates open from 5:30pm
Cheltenham Fireworks – the Cheltenham Roundtable Fireworks display at Cheltenham Racecourse. Gates open at 4pm and the event runs until 8pm
Chalford Hill Bonfire & Fireworks (Chalford Hill)
Quedgeley fireworks night – Quedgeley Town Council will be holding their Annual Fireworks Display at Fisher’s Meadow. Gates open at 5pm and fireworks start at 7pm prompt.
Tetbury Fireworks Night – held at Sir William Romney’s school, with gates opening at 6pm. Bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and fireworks are scheduled to start at 7pm.
