Lots of fun this year at Bolesworth’s spooky Halloween Maize Maze and Pumpkin Picking Patch on selected dates between October 8 and October 30 2022.

Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin patch is free to enter and you only pay for what you pick. We grabbed a wheelbarrow and headed to the massive pumpkin patch.

None of these bought in pumpkins, you have all the fun of actually climbing through the plant to pick your pumpkins from the vine.  Can’t get much fresher than that!  There are plenty of different pumpkin sizes and colours so you can spend a while choosing.

There’s a size chart too so you can tell how much they’ll be too before you go and pay.

Halloween Maize Maze

The maize maze is a great activity with plenty of scary scenes including a skeleton having a shower, the witches potion cottage and a pet cemetery.

There are numbered story boards to read as you find your way through the 6ft tall maize maze which my kids enjoyed reading and following the instructions.

On site there is also a food van serving burgers, chips and other hot food as well as a large area with picnic tables where you can bring your own picnic.
