Clip ‘n Climb’s new indoor climbing centre at the Eden Centre in High Wycombe is perfect for families looking for a fun activity and a great alternative to soft play. Combining climbing with innovative designs and suitable climbers of all ages and skill levels.
Freddie found a love for wall climbing in the summer but we haven’t been since so their excitement levels were through the roof that a new place has opened!
Let me tell you Clip ‘n Climb did not disappoint!
Clip ‘n Climb itself is bright and colourful, it has lots of spectator seating, and a cafe upstairs with a view of the climbing. The staff were all so welcoming and super helpful with the boys which always makes any family experience so much nicer.
There is a drop slide (which my two didn’t try out but loved watching other people do!), 22 different climbing challenges and 27 lines for the kids to try. It was epic!
The boys went from wall to wall trying all the different types of climbs and had an absolute blast. Keeping them awake on the way home was a challenge!
You start with a really detailed briefing and afterwards Matt was confident clipping and unclipping the boys as they made their way around the challenges. Matt even had a go himself as it really is for all ages! (I was looking after Tilly otherwise I definitely would have had a go!!) The automatic belay system is an added layer of reassurance for parents bringing younger children.
The sessions are for 4 and above but they offer mini mountaineer sessions from 2-4. This session was for both boys and they both tried all the climbs. Parker didn’t make it to the top much but he absolutely loved having a go and being able to try the same things as Freddie and do it together.
I can’t count how many times Freddie has already asked when we can go back.
